| Dan the Gear Man Tech® Note: Of all the King Pin and Ball Joint configurations used on 3/4 and 1 ton 4x4 trucks, none is as durable as the Dana Spicer King Pin Open Knuckle design that was introduced in the 1975 model year. Unfortunately, for one reason or another, all the vehicle manufacturers switched to ball joints in the early 1990's with GM and Ford dropping the design after 1991, while Dodge used it until 1993. |
